The interiors of the hotel were completely made of maple wood. In some areas of the Hilton, the wood had to be dyed to a cherry appearance, which is always a problem for any quality production company. Unlike any other wood, maple doesn’t absorb the dye well and the results are variegated – spotty. Mobilier Group has treated the maple wood in special pressured autoclaves and has thus achieved a yet unknown, high quality and homogeneous maple-walnut hybrid.
